Services
|
Bonded Adjusting Service provides you with several different options for handling your delinquent accounts, depending on your situation. Browse our services below to find the service that's right for your business.
Bonded will negotiate collection rates. These rates will be determined by the number of accounts and dollar volume of those accounts placed each month for collection.
All accounts placed for collection will be subject to the terms and conditions as stated on the "Collection Service Agreement" on the "New Account" page.
|
Audit Service - Choice 1 |
A pre-collection service extending for a 30-day period from the date of listing the accounts. During this period a serious effort is made by us to convince the debtor to pay the account directly to our client. For this service, there is a nominal 15% charge on all monies paid to the client or removed from collection by the client because of arrangements made between the client and debtor. The client has the option at the end of the 30-day period to remove the account from listing or assign it to Bonded Adjusting Service for Regular Collection.
|
Audit Service - Choice 2 |
We will collect your past due accounts for the first 30 days commission free. Instead of paying our usual commission on the amount we collect, as in Choice 1, you will pay a one-time low fee of $2.00 per account at the time of listing. When a payment is made on your account during this 30-day period, we will remit 100% of what is collected to you. There is no minimum number of accounts you must turn over, and you pay for just what you are listing at that time; therefore, you are not burdened with a book of pre-paid coupons that you must use up.

Regular Collection |
The agency receives 40% of the money collected on all accounts over $50.00. If litigation on an account becomes necessary, or if an account is forwarded out of our area, the rate will be adjusted to 50%. Accounts of $50.00 and under are collected at 50%. This is the standard industry rate. Remittance is made to our clients on the 10th of each month on collections for the previous month. For legal protection for Bonded and our clients, our agency has a firm of attorneys on retainer. The attorneys keep informed of federal and state collection laws, and advise us of any changes, thereby protecting our clients and agency from needless litigation.

Insufficient Funds Checks (Short Checks and Account Closed Checks) |
(This is a free service for the collection of Short and Account Closed checks.) Upon assignment to our agency, the debtors are notified that the check has been placed for collection and an entry is made on their credit report. As allowed by Colorado law, we add a collection charge to the check amount, making it possible for us to remit to our client the total amount of the check. Checks returned for other reasons are collected at our regular collection rates. These fees do not change when we file suit — you still receive the check amount back. In order to speed up the collection of your checks, you may elect to have all your returned checks sent directly from your bank to our office for immediate attention! |
